Directions (General Driving Directions, below):
The
Plant Biologists of South Florida will meet Saturday, April
13, 2002, at 9:00 am in Room 4009 of the Nova
Southeastern University Campus (NSU)
"Library, Research and Information Technology Center"
in
Davie, Broward County, Florida (see General Driving Directions,
below).
The
NSU Library is located on SW 30th St. (Abe Fischler Drive),
on the north side of NSU.
To
reach NSU, from
I-595 and University, go south on University Drive and drive
approximately 2 miles to SW 30th Street/Abe Fischler Drive
and turn left (east) on 30th Street.
The
Library is on the south side of 30th Street between University
Drive and College Ave. As you drive east on 30th Street
from University Drive, you will pass the Miami Dolphins Training
Facility on your right (south side), then continuing you will
see a large multilevel pay parking lot, also on your right.
At the farthest or east end of the multilevel parking, turn
right at
Ray Ferraro Drive, which has a large monumental sign, "North
Entrance." Turn south (right turn) and into the
multilevel parking, which is metered, $1 per hour, and is
enforced. You can pay with paper bills in the centralized
machines; there is also a parking meter machine in the Library.

General Driving Directions (Local Campus Directions, above):
From
the West Coast (Naples): Take I-75 across the Everglades to
I-595 EAST. Exit I-595 at University Drive and go south.
Continue with the local driving directions (above).
From
western Miami-Dade County: Take I-75 north to I-595 EAST.
Exit I-595 at University Drive and go south and then follow
directions provided above.
From
western Palm Beach County, Western Broward County: The Sawgrass
Expressway merges into I-595. Take I-595 EAST to University
Drive and go south then follow the directions provided above.
From
east: Exit I-95 or the Florida Turnpike onto I-595/State Road
84 and continue going west to University Drive. Go south
on University and follow the directions above.
